This Privacy Policy explains how Atlas Creator OS LLC (“Atlas,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use Atlas Creator OS (the “Service”) or visit atlascreatoros.com.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: your email address, name, and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never store your plaintext password).
• Subscription and billing state: your plan, trial and subscription status, and billing history references. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your full card number.
• Onboarding preferences: choices you make when setting up your account.
• Waitlist and contact submissions: information you submit through our waitlist or contact forms.
• Product data: product, catalog, and analytics data you import into or connect to the Service.

Information collected automatically

• Usage analytics: we use privacy-conscious analytics that record aggregate product events without personal data (no cross-site tracking profiles).
• Cookies: a session cookie used to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy.
• Logs: standard server logs (such as IP address and request metadata) used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and secure the Service and your account.
• Process subscriptions, trials, and payments through Stripe.
• Send transactional email (such as account, trial, and billing notices) through Resend.
• Respond to support, waitlist, and contact requests.
• Understand aggregate product usage to improve the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

The Service is operated from the United States and is directed to users in the United States. We process the information described above to perform our contract with you, to operate and improve the Service, and to comply with our legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:

• Stripe — payment and subscription processing (card details go directly to Stripe).
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers — application and database hosting on DigitalOcean, LLC (United States data centers).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply until updated with notice).

4. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account exists and as needed for legitimate business purposes. After cancellation, imported product data and account records are retained for 90 days to allow reactivation, after which they are deleted or anonymized, except where longer retention is required by law (for example, billing records for tax purposes).

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access, correction, and deletion: you may request a copy of your personal information, correct it, or request deletion of your account and data by emailing privacy@atlascreatoros.com. We will verify the request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
• Marketing: transactional messages are required to operate your account; any marketing email will include an unsubscribe option.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and least-privilege infrastructure practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. International Transfers

The Service is directed to users in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us personal information, contact privacy@atlascreatoros.com and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-product notice) before it takes effect. The effective date above reflects the latest revision.
